The context

As demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure accelerated, a large neocloud provider was rapidly expanding capacity across existing colocation facilities. Unlike many operators building new campuses from the ground up, the provider often deployed inside existing raised-floor facilities to bring AI compute online as quickly as possible.

Every week saved meant additional capacity available to customers.

The challenge

The customer needed a compact remote power panel capable of supporting high-density AI deployments inside a constrained footprint. The technical challenge was significant, but the timeline was even more demanding.

Traditional manufacturers could offer standard products, but the provider needed a solution built specifically for its environment and delivered on a schedule that matched the pace of AI infrastructure deployment.

The solution

Accelevation worked closely with the customer to design a compact top-entry and bottom-entry remote power panel tailored to their requirements.

Our team moved from concept to prototype in just six weeks and achieved UL approval within four months, allowing deployments to move forward without waiting for traditional product development timelines.

As field conditions evolved, we continued adapting the design. When installation teams encountered wire-management constraints, engineers developed a sidecar extension within a week, providing additional cable management space while supporting larger breakers and higher-density configurations.

Rather than simply supplying equipment, we operated as an extension of the customer's team, continuously adapting solutions to support deployment schedules.

What began as a request for a custom remote power panel evolved into our largest power partnership to date. By combining rapid product development, engineering expertise and close collaboration with the customer's deployment teams, we helped accelerate AI infrastructure deployments and created a scalable platform that continues to support future growth.
