Build skills that last

Strengthening the communities we call home.

The Accelevation Academy was built on a belief our founders, Michael and Shawn Rubiera, have held from the beginning: Investing in people is one of the most important investments we can make.

Learn by doing.

New manufacturing team members begin with a hands-on introduction course designed to prepare them for the production floor. They learn to safely use tools and equipment, practice core manufacturing skills and get a better understanding of how their work connects to the teams around them.

For aspiring welders, our four-week welding school combines foundational training with real-world practice. Team members learn our products and processes before applying their skills on a mock production line.

The vision of Accelevation Academy is personal.

As the daughter of a manufacturing apprentice, Shawn saw firsthand how learning a trade can create opportunities that reach far beyond a job. That experience helped shape the vision for an Academy that opens doors to lasting careers and helps strengthen the communities where we live and work.

Today, the Academy brings that vision to life through hands-on training, apprenticeships and partnerships with local schools. As Michael has said, the skilled trades are the heartbeat of our organization, and developing the people behind them is critical to our future.

"Being able to jump right in and be confident in what I'm doing has been awesome. I haven't had that at other companies."

Build a career.

The Academy is about more than preparing someone for their first day. In Ohio, team members can apply for a registered apprenticeship program developed with Sinclair Community College. Those selected continue working while earning a Sinclair certificate and a nationally recognized journey worker credential issued by the State of Ohio.

Keep growing.

As Accelevation grows, the Academy will grow with it. New training will continue to be developed as our products and technologies evolve, giving team members opportunities to build new skills throughout their careers.

"Every time our business evolves our training will evolve with it. Our responsibility is to make sure our team members are ready for what's next."

— Academy Director

The skilled trades build more than products. They build careers, strengthen communities and create opportunities that can last a lifetime.
