Houston Rieger
Senior Vice President of Solutions Engineering
Houston Rieger is the Senior Vice President of Solutions Engineering at Accelevation, where he leads the strategic design, engineering, and implementation of large-scale infrastructure solutions across the data center industry. With over a decade of experience, Houston has played a pivotal role in delivering several hundred megawatts of white space fit-outs, including complex electrical and telecom systems, for some of the most demanding environments in the U.S.
Before joining Accelevation, Houston held multiple leadership roles at Instor Solutions, including Project Manager, Solutions Engineer, and Director of Solutions. During his tenure, he was instrumental in scaling the company’s engineering capabilities and delivering mission-critical infrastructure for hyperscale and enterprise clients.
Houston also served in a national account leadership role at Cam-Dex Security, where he supported Fortune 500 companies and numerous state and federal government agencies with advanced security and access control solutions. His career began in Denver, Colorado, managing service delivery for colocation data centers, where he oversaw major customer migrations and the installation of over 100MW of new white space.
Houston studied at Webster University in St. Louis before launching into a decade-long career in data center infrastructure and solutions engineering. His work has helped shape the growth trajectories of multiple organizations in the data center and security sectors.
He lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, daughter and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, writing and playing music, and watching and playing sports.
