The culture behind the numbers

For Chief Financial Officer Ken Krause, our strength starts with our people and a culture built around thinking like owners.

There was an energy across the company. People moved with speed and weren’t afraid to rethink how things had always been done. More than anything, Krause saw a team with a builder’s mentality and genuine excitement about what they were creating together. That culture is what made him want to be part of the team.

After more than a decade as a public company CFO, Krause joined us earlier this year to help shape the future of technology alongside founders Michael and Shawn Rubiera, and a team that’s always been committed to challenging the status quo.

Now, as we enter our next chapter as the first Dayton-area company to go public in two decades, Krause sees an opportunity to build on that foundation and expand the impact we can make.

“Our financial strength is rooted in our culture,” Krause said.

Part of that culture is a belief that the people building Accelevation should share in the value they help create. And now through the Built Together Ownership Program (BTOP), eligible team members across the company receive equity in Accelevation, giving them a direct stake in our success.
